We had an absolutely beautiful Easter this year. I tried to catch the spirit of it in pictures, but I am sorely lacking photography skills. Trust me that it was amazing and filled with everything and everyone we love.
We started out with the kids Easter party at church on Wednesday and had a blast. Poor Gabby. She runs off so fast now with friends that I didn’t get any shots of her in her bunny ears.
Colored lots of eggs with Grandpa & Grandma Kelly.
Someone thought the little dye tablets were candy…..
Someone else decided to forego the use of spoons and egg dippers and just use his hands to get the eggs out, which made the colors mix…….
The mixing of the colors threw someone else into a tailspin…….
And I am still not sure how the raw eggs ended up mixed together with the dyed eggs. These are Max’s eggs. He could not be bothered to wait for the eggs to turn a darker color. Drop them in and fish them out right away was his motto. Quantity over quality. And no one argued with him, because with his multi-colored egg dye hands, he resembled Bill Bixby in the early stages of turning into the hulk.
Out for dinner Saturday night.
Came home to a MESS of Easter grass that the bunny had tracked in and a letter from E. Bunny himself that sent us on a wild egg chase.
What in the world?
The bunny peed in the toilet just like the leprechauns! (Bunny pee is Easter egg blue, in case you were wondering)
That bunny somehow managed to hide an egg in a LOCKED car.
Chocolate face just stayed out of the way and let the big kids do all the work.
Look at Carly go for Max’s basket, like she doesn’t have a perfectly good one of her own!
And that bunny said he would come back and hide eggs once we were asleep!
And he did!
ANd then it was off to church to see Gabby sing in the Kidz City Choir, which is just about the best choir anywhere!
And of course I did not get any pictures of them all dressed cute in their Easter outfits.
Then back home for a BIG Easter dinner with everyone we love.
And another egg hunt.
A dangerous one apparently….
Right in the middle of the egg hunt. Look who showed up!
Those kids chased that poor bunny up one side of the street and down the other.
He tried to hide in the backyard, but they were too smart for him. I think he eventually escaped through the side bathroom door.
Lots of Easter love.
And a little light reading.
But mostly love.
Hope you enjoyed your peek at our Easter. I am linking up with Sandy at The Reluctant Entertainer for more Easter fun!
