Madonna, McCoy & Mr. Right AND a Giveaway!

Please read this next paragraph in a singsong voice….

Kinda like Elf when he makes up the Christmasgram.

It’s thrift Share Monday! It’s thrift share Monday! And I am haaaapppy. So very Happy. I could dance a little jig and throw my hands up in the air. I’m so happy for thrift share Monday. The best day of the week. Evah. Evah. Evah. And because I love you and I have too much junk treasure in my house, I am going to give away a treasure from this post. It’s thrift share Monday.

Hopefully you did that singsong off key.

Check out my friends thrifty parties at Apron Thrift Girl, Southern Hospitality and Coastal Charm.

Look at my pretties from this past weekend!

Well, the pinky swirly wineglasses aren’t really from this week. They are from a few months ago. I was throwing a baby shower and in search of pink wineglasses and these showed up at the thrift for  89 cents each. I thought they were cheapy reproductions until this week when I was researching these:

I love holly berries and since I am really trying to do away with paper plates in my life, I snatched them right up.

Imagine this full of happy Christmas treats.

70 cents each. I got 8. The mark is Arcoroc France. When I researched it, I came across pictures of the pink wineglasses and so I checked the mark on them as well.

They are marked France and I believe they are also Arcoroc.

I am still not sure if they are vintage or not, but at least I know they are not cheapy Libby imitations. Maybe some glass experts can tell me?

Wait for it.

Wait for it……

She has a little tiny hairline imperfection, but she was so sweet I couldn’t leave her there.

And speaking of hairlines.

What in the name of all that is holy?

Somebody’s watching me. Do you see him in the corner there?

Tainted Love

Everything we had on came from the thrift except dirty PeeWee’s bow tie and my ankle socks. Probably paid $30 for both outfits. (Not including the hairspray)  Can you believe someone would donate their zebra pants?

We went to an 80’s theme 40th birthday party and karaoke’d till our lungs bled.

Hopefully you are all making sense of the Madonna reference now.

Look at us.

Lost in love.

Against all odds.

Nothing’s gonna stop us now.

Can I just say I am as cute now as I ever was in 1986?

So to celebrate the 80’s and he fact that the Packers are 2-0, I am going to give away a treasure!

Just leave a comment and tell me your favorite 80’s song and you are entered to win this little McCoy sugar dish.

My research tells me this is the Pinecone pattern from 1946.

Entry Deadline is Midnight Wednesday (PST)

Good Luck!
