Happy Thrift Share Monday!
Hauling you-know-what to get this post done and link it up with the thrift share party over at Apron Thrift Girl.
Today’s thrift story is a min ‘trash to treasure’ tale.
But first don’t forget there is still time to enter my giveaway and win a free year subscription of Guideposts courtesy of me!
Ok-Here it is.
In all it’s yuletide glory.
Ain’t she a Beaut Clark?
A whole $3.99 at the thrift. I know you are dying thinking ‘Who the holy heck would pay $3.99 for that?
Maybe a close up will help you appreciate it a little more.
How are your eyes doing?
Ok. Well I happen to think it was well worth the $3.99…….
And so did the guy who bought it from my ebay store for $32.
I think he is probably going to a party like the one we had for my girlfriends birthday last year.
Or perhaps he is playing Cousin Eddie in the stage version of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
$32 Big Ones BABEEEE… (read that like B-A-B-Y, not Babe the Blue Ox)
Ok-Have to go and make my lemon chicken. Starving because of my whole lose 5 pounds by Thanksgiving thing. I am making spaghetti squash in stead of actual pasta and Mr. Right is already grumbling. But I don’t care because holy heck spaghetti squash is expensive, something I did not realize until the checkout (did not look at per pound price because I was so wrapped up in my smug attitude of healthy squash-ness) or I would have chucked the whole idea and grabbed a bag of Creamette.
But I need to lose that 5 pounds.
Sabotage lurks around every corner because LOOK what is out at Trader Joes already.
Thump thump thump thump thumpthumpthumpthump.
That is my heart.
