Leprechaun Cake & Candlesticks

It’s Thrift Share Monday! Linking up with Apron Thrift Girl for a thrifty good time.

Ok-

Super cheesed off because I made a leprechaun cake AND Elvis Presley’s favorite muffins yesterday and I took lovely photos, but of course when I was transferring them from the little card thingy to the computer, I had like 3 people yakking in my ear and asking questions and my head hurt and my throat is still sore and I deleted all my pictures.

Super.

Cheesed.

The leprechaun cake was actually Bakerella’s Red Velvet Recipe which I just used green food color instead of red. I was all fancy and made a shamrock stencil from an online coloring page and used it to make a green sugar shamrock on top. It was lovely.

Trust me.

Elvis’s (is that right, how do you show possessive if someones name ends is ‘s’?) muffins were a peanut butter, banana delight which I will make again this weekend so you can see them then.

Still mad.

I found these at the thrift this past week. $1.70 for each one. Of course the original pictures I took were much better because I had perfect light. Then after the diaster, I had to hurry up and take these by the sink as fast as I could before the sun went down. They make me super happy (in spite of the picture disaster). You can turn them upside down and put the candle on either end. Thinking they will be used for spring parties and Easter.

Another little milk glass vase for 70 cents. You can never have too much milk glass is my motto.

Not Mr. Right’s motto apparently, because yesterday when I was wishing for a milk glass pedestal cake stand and voiced my desire on Facebook, Mr. Right (who NEVER comments on anything on Facebook–indeed is hardly ever on) commented on my post.

“Trust me u have ENOUGH milk glass!!!!!!!!”

That is the exact, word for word comment with the exact number of exclamation points, copied and pasted straight from my status update and I am super trying to ignore that he is too lazy to write out y-o-u.

SO today I posted “Wish I had a cake stand that was also an ipad”

Have a great week!
